The application of titanium wire and titanium alloy wire!

Titanium and titanium alloy materials, as outstanding metal materials, have a series of excellent properties that are unparalleled by other metal materials. Therefore, they have developed rapidly in recent years and are rapidly and widely used in high-tech fields such as aerospace and military industry. The United States, Russia, Japan, China and other countries around the world attach great importance to the research and development of titanium alloys, continuously developing new titanium alloy materials, and expanding the application of titanium and titanium alloys. Due to the continuous deepening of research and the increase in product series, many titanium products, such as titanium wire, have also increasingly entered various civilian consumer goods fields.

1. Classification

Titanium can be divided into pure titanium and titanium alloys based on whether it contains alloying elements, and titanium alloys can be divided into α Titanium alloy and near α Type alloy( α+β) Type alloy, near β Type alloy and β Type A alloy. Titanium and titanium alloys can also prepare wire materials with different usage requirements based on their different properties. Titanium and titanium alloy wire products are generally in the hard state (Y) and annealed state (M).

2. Application

Titanium and titanium alloys, due to their excellent properties such as good corrosion resistance, high specific strength, non magnetism, high biocompatibility, low impedance to ultrasound, high sound transmission coefficient, hydrogen storage, and good shape memory function, have important applications in many fields such as aerospace, petrochemicals, healthcare, automotive, construction, and sports and leisure products.

As an important variety of titanium materials, titanium and titanium alloy wires have made significant progress in terms of production, specifications, and applications. In general, titanium and titanium alloy wires refer to titanium products supplied in the form of discs, as well as those supplied in the form of straight wires. In terms of diameter dimensions, the division of rods and wires is not strict, and varies from country to country. Moreover, in recent years, due to its continuous development and increasing variety, it has provided more choices in high-performance industrial and consumer goods applications.
